Capital Operations Officer
About the Role
WOXA GROUP is looking for a Capital Operations Officer to serve as a financial intelligence hub within the Operations Team, reporting to the COO and working closely with the CFO and Accounting Team.
This role focuses on monitoring and planning fund movements across multiple entities, bank accounts, and Payment Service Providers (PSPs). You will transform accounting and financial data into clear insights, cash-position reports, and strategic recommendations that enable management to make timely capital-allocation decisions.
The position is focused on analysis, planning, visibility, and recommendations rather than directly executing fund transfers, making it suitable for someone with strong financial analysis, treasury, and operational planning capabilities.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain a real-time capital flow map covering cash positions across entities, bank accounts, and PSPs.
Prepare weekly cash-position reports with relevant context for the COO and CFO.
Keep capital-flow information accurate and updated when account structures or financial infrastructure change.
Establish minimum and maximum balance thresholds for accounts and recommend efficient fund-routing frameworks.
Analyze liquidity positions against financial obligations to identify potential liquidity risks in advance.
Recommend fund-movement amounts, routes, timing, and rationale based on financial data.
Maintain information on bank and PSP limits, SLAs, restrictions, fees, and operational requirements.
Identify gaps in banking or PSP coverage and recommend new providers when appropriate.
Prepare accurate transfer instructions and supporting documentation after management approval.
Coordinate with Accounting on intercompany documentation and monitor transfer status without directly executing or reconciling transactions.
Monitor fund flows for anomalies, unexpected movements, settlement delays, and concentration risks.
Prepare monthly fund-flow reviews and quarterly PSP performance reports covering fees, limits, and failure rates.
Support account setup and treasury structures for business expansion into new jurisdictions and M&A due diligence.
Support special treasury and capital-related projects assigned by the COO.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in treasury analysis, financial planning, finance operations, or a related role.
Ability to consolidate financial data from multiple sources into clear management-ready reports and recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and the ability to use AI tools to support financial analysis.
Ability to independently build cash models, fund-flow trackers, and financial outlook templates.
Ability to read and interpret bank statements, PSP settlement reports, and intercompany records.
Basic understanding of foreign-exchange exposure, intercompany structures, and treasury concepts.
Fluent English communication skills.
Strong analytical and structured thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Proactive approach to identifying potential risks or operational issues.
Strong written communication skills, particularly for concise executive-level reports and memos.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing, multi-jurisdiction business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in multi-entity or multi-currency environments.
